You will design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using Java and AWS in a hybrid Chicago, IL role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and related frameworks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments to ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

Required Skills

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud-native development principles and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture and best practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certifications.
