Description

You will design, code, and maintain large-scale Java microservices and enterprise applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Develop program-wide engineering best practices and mentor peer teams.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and define strategic solutions.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting and defect resolution.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for web application stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of application development in Java.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle or MongoDB.
• 2+ years of experience with Kafka and asynchronous communication patterns.
• 2+ years of experience designing enterprise applications for real-time and batch data processing.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (BPEL, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT).
• Understanding of IT Security Frameworks including Authentication, Authorization, and Access Control.
• Experience in Agile environments like Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience with Redis or Oracle Coherence Cache.
• Experience with SOA Suite technology adapters (DB, JMS, MQ, and File).
