Description

Own the full software development lifecycle for web-based applications, from gathering requirements to deployment. Execute migrations of existing Java projects and implement security protocols for web services. Improve application performance by developing new modules and optimizing existing code. Work independently or within a team to deliver technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy web-based applications while managing the full SDLC.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional code and technical analysis.
• Develop new modules and implement solutions to improve existing application performance.
• Execute migrations of existing Java-based projects.
• Implement security protocols for web-based applications and web services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in J2EE development.
• 3+ years of experience with Struts 1.x and Spring Framework.
• 3+ years of experience with Jasper Reports, Java scripting, and XML technologies.
• 4+ years of experience implementing Web Services using SOAP and REST.
• 4+ years of experience working in SUN Solaris environments.
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX shell scripting and version control tools (CVS, GIT).
• 3+ years of experience with JUnit and testing processes.
• 2+ years of experience with JBOSS Application Server (5.x, EAP 6.x, EAP 7.x), ANT, and Maven.
• Experience implementing web applications with Oracle 10g or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JBOSS Drools, micro-services, design patterns, and caching technologies.
• Experience with Angular JS, Jquery, Node.js, Jenkins CI/CD, and Selenium testing.
• EAP 7.x performance tuning and optimization.
