Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle for web-based applications, from gathering requirements to deployment. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy web-based applications while managing the full SDLC.
• Execute migrations of existing Java projects and implement security protocols for web services.
• Improve application performance by developing new modules and optimizing existing code.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional code and technical analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in J2EE development.
• 3+ years of experience with Struts 1.x and Spring Framework.
• 3+ years of experience with Jasper Reports, Java scripting, and XML technologies.
• 4+ years of experience implementing Web Services using SOAP and REST.
• 4+ years of experience working in SUN Solaris environments.
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX shell scripting and version control tools (CVS, GIT).
• 3+ years of experience with JUnit and testing processes.
• 2+ years of experience with JBOSS Application Server (5.x, EAP 6.x, EAP 7.x), ANT, and Maven.
• Experience implementing web applications with Oracle 10g or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JBOSS Drools, micro-services, design patterns, and caching technologies.
• Experience with Angular JS, Jquery, Node.js, Jenkins CI/CD, and Selenium testing.
• EAP 7.x performance tuning and optimization.
