Description

Lead the design, development, and integration of service-oriented application systems using SOA principles for financial service lines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical design and integration based on functional requirements.
• Implement the integration layer within the SOA stack to support financial services.
• Execute unit testing and integration processes using the WebSphere SOA stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production environment issues.
• Provide strategic technology guidance to diverse team requirements.

Required Skills

• Over 12 years of professional IT experience in application development.
• Proficiency in modern Java versions for extensive backend applications.
• Expertise in J2EE technologies and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Web services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with Swagger, Maven, Eclipse, Jenkins, GIT, and Postman/Newman.
• At least 1 year of experience with distributed web services interfacing with mainframe systems (IBM DataPower, WESB, IIB, or zOS Connect).
• Exposure to cloud technologies, specifically GCP or AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the banking industry.
• Experience with distributed systems such as IIB or DataPower.
