Description

You will lead backend development and modernization efforts for large-scale initiatives, owning the migration of file-based systems to database architectures and managing complex backend processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex, long-term engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Execute hands-on development for modernization projects, specifically moving legacy files to databases.
• Collaborate with client personnel to design and deliver scalable backend solutions.
• Ensure strict compliance with organizational policies and development procedures.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of message streaming and queuing systems: Kafka and JMS.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases and data management.
• 5+ years of experience in specialty software engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading complex, multi-faceted technical initiatives.
