Description

You will own the development and operation of core Java services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate microservices in production environments.
• Design and implement RESTful services adhering to best practices.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexing, and complex queries.
• Implement event streaming using Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on-site to define technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years focused specifically on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience building production microservices.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
• Deep understanding of REST principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with banking or financial services application standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying Java applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
