Description

You will own the design, development, and delivery of SDLC solutions within an Agile or XP environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using object-oriented principles and Java design patterns.
• Document existing environments and develop technical strategies for design changes.
• Generate technical roadmaps and define tactical methods to achieve objectives.
• Manage multiple complex efforts using DevOps toolchain methodologies including CI/CD and TDD.
• Train and mentor team members while investigating and documenting system details.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using ITIL, Agile, or XP methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java SE, Java EE, or Spring.
• Strong understanding of SOA principles, EAI patterns, and UML.
• Experience with microservices architecture and JavaScript MVC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and relational databases.
• Competency with diagnostics and testing tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of software configuration management and build processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• 10+ years of SDLC experience and 3+ years of technical leadership.
• Airline industry experience involving Sabre and related business processes.
