Description

You will design, build, and maintain complex application systems and middleware using Java technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java/J2EE systems, including web applications, business services, and batch processes.
• Build integration capabilities between front-end and back-end systems using Web Services and Java RMI.
• Execute the full development lifecycle from inception through implementation within an Agile methodology.
• Apply Object Oriented Analysis and Design to create scalable architecture and apply Java Design Patterns.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and documentation for large-scale, complex projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring frameworks.
• Experience building Microservices and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with SCM tools including GIT and Jenkins.
• Practical application of Java Design Patterns and JUnit.
• Working knowledge of Maven, Tomcat, and IntelliJ.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and Object Oriented Design.
• Experience with JSP-based web applications and batch systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with new banking architecture designs.
