Description

You will design and develop large-scale applications in production environments using Java and microservices architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Implement object-oriented designs following Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Manage deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps tooling.
• Maintain production environments for large-scale applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in J2EE technologies including JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, and EJB.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services (JSON, WSDL, XML).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Maven, Git, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of Redis Cache and IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile/SCRUM frameworks.
