Description

Develop and maintain enterprise-scale applications using J2EE technologies and modern Java frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing application code and develop new components based on technical requirements.
• Analyze requirements, support solution design, and translate business needs into technical objectives.
• Own all development phases including file design, data storage, and system architecture.
• Provide production support, resolve security findings, and maintain deployed applications.
• Adhere to coding standards, development methodologies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Expertise in Java 8 and 17.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful services.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with EJB, JavaBeans, Servlets, and JDBC.
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing using JUnit and JMock.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, configuration management, and version control.
• Experience in production support and addressing security vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in financial services or captive auto finance domains.
• Experience with Angular 14+ and Struts.
• Familiarity with UNIX (AIX) and UNIX Shell Scripting.
