Description

You will own the development and maintenance of a critical enterprise Java application.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for a mission-critical legacy enterprise Java application, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements to the application.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and operations teams to deliver stable software.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to system modernization initiatives, including microservices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on expertise in enterprise-level Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot / Spring Framework, including Spring Data and Spring Cloud.
• Expertise with Hibernate / JPA2, including HQL, JPQL, Hibernate Criteria, and JPA Criteria APIs.
• Experience designing and integrating Web Services using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito, applying test-driven approaches.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for pipelines, deployments, and repository management.
• Essential experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with application servers (e.g., WebLogic 14+) and build tools (Gradle, Ant).
• Database experience with Oracle 19c, SQL Server, or MongoDB, and message streaming with Kafka.
