Description

You will design, develop, and maintain secure Java applications and microservices, leading efforts to scan and resolve application security vulnerabilities.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure Java applications using JDK 21 and Java 8.
• Resolve application security vulnerabilities using Sonatype, Fortify, and Web Inspect.
• Collaborate with security teams to communicate scan results and implement fixes.
• Support existing systems while adhering to strict security and coding standards.
• Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning and ticket management in AZDO.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 21, Java 8), Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with security scanning tools: Sonatype, Fortify, Web Inspect.
• Strong understanding of SQL.
• Familiarity with agile ticketing systems like AZDO.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure.
