Description

Lead technical execution and development for the OPF APAC Project, owning the design, coding, and maintenance of Java-based systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain Java and J2EE application systems based on technical specifications.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using object-oriented design and analysis.
• Convert business requirements into executable code solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and resolve complex queries during project execution.
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.

Required Skills

• 8-16 years of experience in Java technologies.
• Proven experience in the Payments domain.
• Proficiency in Core Java: Collections, Concurrency/Multi-Threading, Localization, JDBC.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, XML, and ANSI SQL.
• Experience with Hibernate, Spring, Struts, EJBs, and JSP.
• Hands-on experience with Messaging using JMS and Web services.
• Familiarity with Web technologies including HTML/DHTML and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of at least one J2EE Application Server (WebSphere Process Server, WebLogic, or JBoss).
• Experience with Oracle or DB2 database concepts and LINUX environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of FIS products and services.
• Understanding of the financial services industry and basic financial analysis principles.
