Description

You will drive the development, testing, and maintenance of SAP HCM product features within a global team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and customer support.
• Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write comprehensive unit, component, and contract tests to ensure application reliability.
• Optimize application performance and adhere to established coding standards.
• Document technical designs, code, and configurations for long-term maintenance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in at least one: API Gateway, Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, JVM, Spring Framework, or Tomcat.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong foundation in relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes using Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with integration, stress, and performance testing.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to lean development infrastructure and Continuous Delivery practices.
• A DevOps mindset regarding ownership of the deployment lifecycle.
