Description

Support mission-critical IT systems through development, production support, and DevOps tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications and custom-built jars.
• Deploy and debug applications on Orion, JBoss, and Tomcat servers.
• Perform DevOps duties including configuration changes and application deployment across production and lower environments.
• Manage production support, including troubleshooting Windows/Linux batch jobs and shell scripts.
• Integrate SOAP-based web services into existing codebases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java (1.5 to 1.8 minimum) and J2EE applications.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, Bootstrap, JSP, and HTML.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle DB, specifically Oracle DBMS 11g R2 and above.
• 5+ years of experience with ANT-based applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux (RHEL 5+) and Windows environments, including Apache web server management.
• 5+ years of experience with client-server, OS, application, and VM architecture.
• Proficiency with Struts 1, Hibernate ORM, and SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse, Putty, and Postman.
• Ability to install SSL certificates and troubleshoot Oracle client connectivity (tnsnames files).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Builder or migration projects across Java versions.
• Experience using Tortoise SVN.
