Description

You will design and build low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems for trading asset classes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build fault-tolerant, scalable systems with a focus on low latency.
• Integrate trading transactional data into time series data warehouses.
• Design and develop automated stress testing harnesses and Start of Day resiliency programs.
• Collaborate with Traders, Data Scientists, and Quants to define roadmaps and project estimates.
• Contribute to distributed system architecture and ensure high leverage of source code reuse.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java experience with 10+ years of multi-threading experience.
• 7+ years of application development and trading systems implementation experience.
• 7+ years of Fixed Income and electronic trading platform support experience.
• 5+ years of High Frequency systems and low latency development experience.
• 5+ years of algorithmic development experience.
• Experience building server-side eTrading modules such as Offering/Quoting pricing streams or RFQ auto-responders.
• Deep domain expertise in asset classes like US Treasury, Interest Rate Swaps, CDS, or Foreign Exchange.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, and mathematical modeling.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
