Description

You will design, build, and maintain ICE Chat, a high-volume enterprise instant messaging application.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core system architecture for distributed components.
• Develop, test, and scale multi-threaded server-side applications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues across test and live environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of recent core Java experience.
• Strong knowledge of JVM internals, specifically garbage collection.
• Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent Java development.
• First-hand experience with Enterprise Messaging, specifically Kafka.
• Proven ability to build and scale distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS.
• Background in financial services, including derivatives and option pricing.
