Description

Build high-performance, transaction-heavy backend systems using Java and modern microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build asynchronous, event-driven microservices using reactive programming and concurrency patterns.
• Implement cross-cutting concerns like logging, security, and transaction management using Spring AOP.
• Optimize database interactions through advanced Hibernate caching, fetch strategies, and batch processing.
• Develop time-sensitive, high-availability systems utilizing Real-Time Specification for Java.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries while ensuring secure data handling and authentication.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Core Java and functional programming (Streams API, Lambda Expressions, Optional).
• Expertise in multi-threading, synchronization, and concurrency patterns like Executor Service and ForkJoinPool.
• Proficiency in containerization and CI/CD using LightSpeed, Harness, Tecton, and OpenShift.
• Deep understanding of distributed tracing, API Gateway integration, and microservices architecture.
• Strong data modeling skills with Oracle (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Experience with secure coding practices including SSL/TLS, OAuth, and JWT token handling.
• Competency in ORM optimization and Hibernate integration.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) including GPT or BERT.
• Familiarity with ML concepts such as tokenization, sentiment analysis, and reinforcement learning.
