Description

You will own the development and delivery of cloud-native microservices and APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust microservices using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Build event-driven architectures with Kafka or MQ for asynchronous communication.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and practical microservice patterns to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver enhancements and new features.

Required Skills

• 8-12+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JAXB, and JAXP.
• Experience with OpenShift and cloud-native application deployment.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of various design patterns and modern application architecture.
