Description

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot, owning the full lifecycle from architecture to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design high and low-level system architectures and workflow diagrams.
• Build performant, secure RESTful microservices and APIs with robust error handling.
• Manage code versioning and build processes using Git and Maven.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and CI/CD engineers across global time zones.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications with Java.
• 5+ years of professional development experience using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of core Java: functional programming, threading, concurrency, collections, and exception handling.
• Proven experience building RESTful microservices and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, entity relations (ORM), and query optimization.
• Proficiency with Maven and Git.
• Understanding of network protocols including HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, and TCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or AMQ.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud environments and container orchestration using OpenShift.
