Description

You will design and implement performant Java services within a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable Java code following industry best practices and design patterns.
• Develop and deploy services within cloud-based infrastructure and event-driven systems.
• Implement testing strategies using TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Manage service lifecycles using Maven, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate on technical documentation and task management using Confluence and Jira.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven commercial Java experience.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and software patterns.
• Experience building RESTful services in microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems.
• Experience with event or stream-based systems using SQS, Kafka, or Pulsar.
• Practical knowledge of CQRS patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Fluent English communication skills for technical discussion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and Rekognition Face Liveness.
• Experience with Camunda BPMN.
