Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex web-based and client-server systems using Java technologies.

Residence within 70 miles of Lansing, MI is required for the hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java MVC frameworks and ORM tools.
• Develop procedures and queries using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Perform requirements gathering and analysis with customers.
• Write detailed technical documentation and instructions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems under tight timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of post-undergraduate experience as a Java developer.
• Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, and EJB.
• Proficiency with Struts MVC and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or higher), Oracle, or Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Web Services.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, design, and programming.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage both web-based and client-server architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle or Postgres databases.
