Description

Develop and support applications within an investment banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features by collecting requirements and coordinating development schedules with partners.
• Conduct regression testing, write unit tests, and develop user test cases.
• Recommend technical solutions by evaluating the pros and cons of custom development versus vendor products.
• Support the development team through clear documentation and the creation of user-friendly support tools.
• Participate in team meetings, production issue resolution, and technical briefings for clients.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of senior-level Java development experience, ideally in investment banking.
• Deep expertise in Java 1.6, including multi-threading and JVM internals/performance tuning.
• Experience with Spring and Apache Camel frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Tibco EMS, RV, or similar messaging platforms.
• Proficiency with relational databases and Linux scripting.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and build repositories.
• BE, B Tech, or MCA degree.

Preferred Skills

• Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins Deploy, Maven, or Cloud platforms.
• Test Driven Development (TDD) and Jide/Swing UI development.
