Description

You will design and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot on AWS infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize RESTful web services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Implement serverless functions with AWS Lambda and manage API traffic via API Gateway.
• Monitor application health and performance using CloudWatch and AWS observability tools.
• Maintain build pipelines with Maven or Gradle and manage source code using Git/GitLab.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver scalable microservices and integrations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java (version 8 or above).
• Expert-level proficiency in the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS services, specifically Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services and API design principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or GitLab.
• Proficiency with build tools including Maven and/or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Oracle Database.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
