Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java applications focused on market risk and VaR calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, secure Java applications using Java 17.
• Implement distributed processing solutions through multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration.
• Develop cloud-based applications on Azure using Spring Cloud and Async.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for relational databases.
• Automate tasks using Python and perform data transformations with SSIS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Cloud, and Microservices.
• Experience with Azure, including Azure Spring Apps and Azure Monitor.
• Solid SQL skills for relational database management.
• Practical knowledge of market risk measures such as VaR and FRTB-SA.
• Understanding of traded products, sensitivity calculations, and position valuations.
• Experience with Python for automation and SSIS for data transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of Databricks.
• Relevant certifications in Java or Azure.
