Description

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot midrange Java applications and web-based processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update program code to resolve defects and improve software performance.
• Research, analyze, and document reports, batch processes, and web-based workflows.
• Unit test software applications to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• Consult with Business Analysts to define feasibility, input/output procedures, and system requirements.
• Provide production support by investigating defect causes and implementing solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in solution design and hands-on web application development.
• Extensive expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with Web services, including SOAP, REST, and AJAX.
• Strong backend experience developing data layers using JPA or Hibernate.
• Expertise in database concepts, complex SQL tuning, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with Oracle, Unix Shell scripting, and Oracle Toad.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Experience using Eclipse, Jira, and Agile application development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
