Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications for cloud-native environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable applications using open-source frameworks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data management.
• Package services using Docker and deploy them on AWS or Kubernetes.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Perform static analysis and remediation using tools like Fortify or SonarQube.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Java (8 or newer) and J2EE.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Web Development, JSON, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and query optimization.
• Proficiency with Angular and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, JMeter, and Artifactory.
• Experience with JMS enterprise messaging such as ActiveMQ or AMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up, maintaining, and evolving cloud infrastructure for web applications.
• Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
