Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You own the full application lifecycle, from coding and testing to deployment via CI/CD pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Framework.
• Migrate and upgrade applications to Java 21, resolving dependency and compatibility issues.
• Perform R&D to integrate AI-assisted tools and prompt engineering into development workflows.
• Write complex SQL queries and manage data modeling for RDBMS systems.
• Build and deploy applications using Maven/Gradle, JUnit/Mockito, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ features: I/O, multithreading, concurrency, collections, generics, and lambdas.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Dependency Injection.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful API web services.
• Knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MS SQL), XML, and JSON.
• Proficiency with build and test tools: Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Mockito.
• Understanding of Docker containers and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Python proficiency for AI/ML development and automation.
• Direct experience upgrading applications to Java 21 or recent LTS versions.
