Description

You will lead the modernization of legacy applications by analyzing business logic and designing forward-compatible software components.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy applications to map data structures, business logic, and operational dependencies.
• Translate undocumented system behaviors into clear modernization strategies.
• Partner with architects to design integration points and software components.
• Communicate technical findings and implementation pathways to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work independently to navigate complex, evolving environments and shifting priorities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift deployment.
• Background in event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Familiarity with Azure and DevOps practices.
• Experience with application modernization and enterprise-scale transformation projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS.
