Description

Develop server-side applications within large, distributed micro-service architectures.

You will build and maintain RESTful web services using Spring and Spring Boot, applying SOLID and DRY principles to scalable systems. Responsibilities include implementing messaging solutions with JMS and ActiveMQ, managing data persistence via JPA or Hibernate, and writing unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito. You will also handle CI/CD workflows, profile applications, and support international software requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful/JSON web services using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Implement messaging solutions using JMS and ActiveMQ.
• Manage data persistence using Spring JDBC template, JPA, or Hibernate.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and AssertJ.
• Support international requirements including multi-lingual and multi-currency logic.

Required Skills

• 8+ years total development experience, with 4+ years focused on Java.
• Expertise in Core Java 1.8 and above.
• Experience building distributed systems and micro-services.
• Proficiency with Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Maven and IntelliJ IDE.
• Working knowledge of MacOS, Unix, and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with in-memory distributed data storage like memcache, ehcache, or Hazelcast.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud deployment experience, preferably with Azure.
• Experience using SQL Server.
• Experience with JSON-API or GraphQL.
