Description

Design and develop scalable microservices using Java, owning the end-to-end build and deployment process while leading technical teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Lead technical teams and support stakeholders including Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
• Manage the end-to-end build and deployment process from development to production.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Provide expert-level technical support for core applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Deep expertise in Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, JPA, and REST services.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and system design.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers like Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with MSSQL or Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with Node, React, or Angular.
