Build and maintain a microservices-based application platform, driving architectural decisions and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive architectural decisions and implement technical standards across the team.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver critical business capabilities.
• Define and implement engineering best practices for collaborative development.

Required Skills

• 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, and the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience building Java-based microservices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka.
• Proficiency in relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including Redis and Amazon Redshift.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and API lifecycle management.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms.
• Working knowledge of AWS and GCP managed services such as DynamoDB, BigQuery, and SQS.
