You will build, optimize, and maintain scalable microservices and SOA applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Design and implement cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on container platforms.
• Debug, tune, and optimize system components for performance.
• Manage data integration using SQL, XML, JSON, and various file formats.
• Operate within CI/CD environments to ensure continuous delivery and code quality.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Web, and Spring Data.
• Proficiency in SOAP and RESTful services.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle; experience with Aurora DB.
• Deep understanding of Java OOD/OOP, threading, collections, and exception handling.
• Expertise in Design Patterns, SOA, and Message Oriented Middleware.
• Experience parsing XML, JSON, delimited files, and fixed-length files.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including R53, S3, EKS, Private Link, VPC, DNS, NLB, ALB, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, Transit Gateway, and IAM.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• PL/SQL programming expertise.
• Experience developing applications within the Financial Services industry.
