Description

You will design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance. This role owns the full development lifecycle, from writing testable, efficient code to deploying features into production.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure software solutions for mission-critical systems.
• Develop reusable Java libraries and implement automated testing platforms with unit tests.
• Monitor system performance and optimize existing systems based on business specifications.
• Manage code versioning and build processes using Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain best practices for deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proficiency in Java, including OOPS patterns and concurrency.
• Strong understanding of JVM internals, including drawbacks and workarounds.
• Experience with RESTful web services, JDBC, and MVC patterns.
• Familiarity with design and architectural patterns for scalable systems.
• Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks such as Swing, SWT, or AWT.
• Skilled in creating database schemas to support business processes.
• Proficient with build tools like Ant, Maven, or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with high-availability system architecture.
