Description

You will own the development and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure RESTful microservices using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Implement Kafka-based integrations, including producers, consumers, and streaming pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning, and support the application lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (Java 8 preferred).
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA for application development.
• Proficiency with Kafka integration and message streaming concepts.
• Strong command of CI/CD tools and automation practices.
• Experience with database scripting and query optimization in DB2 or PostgreSQL.
• Competency in Unix Shell Scripting for operational tasks.
• Solid understanding of microservices design principles and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degrees in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with XML and JSON for data transformation.
