Description

You will own the design, development, and testing of scalable Java applications while mentoring the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application modules, including prototyping for proof of concept and business requirement validation.
• Execute comprehensive testing cycles including unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing.
• Create technical documentation using UML diagrams and models to support architectural decisions.
• Conduct peer code reviews and guide the team to improve code quality, reliability, and security.
• Estimate development efforts, schedule module releases, and report progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 1.8 and Java 11, including deep understanding of Memory Management and Garbage Collector algorithms.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Experience with Angular and RESTful APIs or SOAP Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of application servers including Tomcat, Apache, and WebLogic.
• Application of SOLID design patterns and OWASP security best practices.
• Experience with branch-based development workflows such as Gitflow.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to DevOps CI/CD implementations and managing framework migrations for Java, Hibernate, and Spring.
