Description

Design and develop financial services applications using Java/JEE technologies and middleware, owning the end-to-end development cycle from requirements analysis to maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain efficient, reusable code while identifying bottlenecks and devising effective solutions.
• Manage source code repositories and support production releases.
• Collaborate with business and senior technology members in an agile environment.
• Analyze requirements and oversee application maintenance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java/JEE software engineering experience in financial services.
• Proficiency in JAVA, JEE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Python, Maven, SVN, and GIT.
• Knowledge of data modeling, Apache Spark, and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with Sybase/Oracle, GXT/GWT, or other UI frameworks.
• Competency in REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Perl, and Shell Scripting fundamentals.
• Experience with JMS, MQ, Tibco, Solace, or Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments.
