Description

Design, develop, and deliver data-driven intelligent solutions for business processes as a Senior Java Developer.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java-based APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, AWS, and Kafka.
• Develop SQL stored procedures, functions, and data warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with data specialists, application developers, and product managers to integrate data-driven solutions.
• Lead technical efforts by mentoring team members, resolving challenges, and performing code reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer in the US.
• Extensive experience in the Financial Services and Investment Banking domain.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, AWS, and streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Strong SQL skills for building stored procedures and functions.
• Experience developing TDD/BDD unit tests and performing defect triage with QA teams.
• Degree from a US college.
• Local to the NYC area for onsite work 3 days a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Salesforce CRM ecosystem.
• Exposure to ETL and Data Engineering tools such as Mulesoft, StreamSets, or Databricks.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence tools including Tableau CRM, Cognos, or PowerBI.
