Description

Build and maintain backend systems using Core Java and the Spring framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document technical solutions for complex problems.
• Implement software using design patterns including Dependency Injection, MVVM, and MVC.
• Manage data using T-SQL, ensuring proper normalization, de-normalization, and performance tuning.
• Write and maintain code within Agile environments using Scrum, TDD, and pair programming.
• Collaborate with users and vendors to address technical requirements and maintain effective relationships.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and the Spring framework.
• Experience with RESTful frameworks.
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with T-SQL and database locking mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with UNIX environments and shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of XML and JSON.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Investment industry knowledge, specifically ETF Trading and Portfolio Management.
