Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience to work onsite in New York with our direct client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise Java development and modern application frameworks. This position is W2 only; C2C candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applications.
Lead full-cycle development including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams onsite.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical discussions.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

12+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
Experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
Strong database skills with Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL.
Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of design patterns and enterprise architecture.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work onsite with client teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience in financial services or banking domain.
Exposure to AWS / Azure cloud environments.
Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
