Architect and build internet-scale solutions within an Agile team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs using Spring Boot and Open API specifications.
• Build asynchronous reactive microservices to ensure extensible and reliable systems.
• Champion best practices for performance, resiliency, availability, and scalability.
• Participate in design and code reviews for key components and enterprise initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure meets SLAs and solutions are testable and easy to maintain.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing internet-scale solutions.
• Proficiency in Java 11, including Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, and generics.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and REST APIs.
• Expertise in asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ.
• Proficiency with Test Driven Development (TDD) and mock frameworks.
• Competency in Git workflows, Gradle, and load testing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Background in payment systems, real-time transaction platforms, or fintech API development.
• Previous leadership experience in a development environment.
