Description

Build and maintain distributed, event-based systems within an agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, performant, scalable, and testable code with automated tests.
• Engage in refinement sessions to clarify technical and functional requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and promote software development best practices.
• Implement DevOps standards including CI/CD pipelines and telemetry capture.
• Contribute to the improvement of team standards and internal processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience building distributed, event-based systems.
• Proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience designing high-volume messaging and REST-based middleware.
• Knowledge of system resiliency, scalability, security, and observability.
• Experience with scalable relational or non-relational database modeling.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud-based development principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kafka, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Background in FinTech application development or working within a global delivery team.
