Description

You will design and code backend components for web applications, owning the full development lifecycle from requirements to production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document new software features and subsequent versions.
• Create and execute unit and integration tests to verify application quality.
• Identify and implement optimizations for existing applications.
• Collaborate with product management to define feature requirements.
• Provide production support for applications during and after business hours.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience using Java 8+.
• Strong experience with Java functional programming paradigms.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot Framework.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Mockito and JUnit.
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with Kafka and data streaming architectures.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and common authentication/authorization mechanisms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Reactive Java and Spring WebFlux.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
