Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java applications within an investment banking environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance Java applications using Java 17 and Spring Cloud.
• Implement distributed processing solutions through multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration.
• Build and manage cloud-based applications on Azure.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for relational databases.
• Automate tasks using Python and perform data transformations with SSIS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Spring Apps and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with microservices and asynchronous processing.
• Deep understanding of SQL and relational database management.
• Background in banking, specifically involving market risk, VaR, and FRTB-SA.
• Knowledge of traded products, sensitivity calculations, and position valuations.
• Proficiency in Python and SSIS for automation and data transformation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with OpenShift.
• Relevant certifications in Java or Azure.
