Description

You will lead the architectural design and development of enterprise-scale web services using Java EE and Spring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for web-based services and enterprise applications.
• Build and manage applications using Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Integrate web services via SOA or REST architectures.
• Manage data through extensive SQL querying and database interaction.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors within an agile environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with enterprise applications or architectural leadership.
• Proficiency with J2EE technologies, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of REST and web services.
• Extensive experience with SQL and database interaction.
• Hands-on experience with IDEs and development tools like Eclipse and Subversion.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and data privacy laws.
• Prior experience working in the insurance industry.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with DBA tasks.
