You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure Java applications in New York, NY.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement distributed processing solutions using multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration.
• Develop cloud-based applications on Azure using OpenShift, AKS, or similar stacks.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for relational databases.
• Perform data transformations and analysis using SSIS or Databricks workflows.
• Script automation tasks using Python.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in distributed computing and containerization.
• Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures and complex queries.
• Experience with data flow orchestration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks, Kubernetes, or Azure Spring Apps.
• Knowledge of quantitative finance, traded products, sensitivity calculations, and position valuations.
• Proficiency in market risk measures like VaR and stress testing.
