Lead the design and development of automated medical coding technology initiatives for healthcare providers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of key automated medical coding technology initiatives.
• Provide technical direction to local and global engineering teams.
• Mentor less experienced employees in development fundamentals and the technology stack.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business development teams on feature discussions.
• Remove development roadblocks through troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and high-level architecture design.
• Experience in full-stack SaaS application development.
• Proficiency with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience with API integration and AWS.
• Knowledge of HL7.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, and debugging.
• Ability to learn legacy applications and new technologies quickly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Services and AWS SDK.
• Scripting in Linux OS, Git, Slack API, or Rundeck.
• Natural Language Processing, Regular Expressions, and document formatting (XML, JSON, PDF, OCR).
