Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java applications for investment banking platforms, focusing on market risk calculations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, high-performance Java applications using Java 17.
• Implement distributed processing solutions through multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration.
• Build cloud-based applications on Azure, utilizing Azure Spring Apps and Azure Monitor.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for relational databases.
• Automate tasks using Python and perform data transformations with SSIS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Cloud, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with market risk measures, including VaR, FRTB-SA, sensitivity calculations, and position valuations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud development on Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL and microservices architecture.
• Experience in banking environments, specifically Market Risk and VaR calculations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks or OpenShift.
• Relevant certifications in Java or Azure.
