Description

You will build high-scale systems using modern Java and reactive programming.

Responsibilities

• Write core Java code utilizing JDK 17+ features including Streams, Lambdas, and Collections.
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns using Multithreading, Executors, and CompletableFutures.
• Design and maintain microservices and APIs using REST, SOAP, or gRPC.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues through system tuning and problem diagnosis.
• Manage source code and resolve merge conflicts using Git.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Expertise in Java 17+ core constructs and JVM internals.
• Strong proficiency in reactive programming and reactive stacks like Vert.x, Spring Reactive, RJava, Netty, or Akka.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous constructs including Futures and CompletableFutures.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit or Cucumber.
• Experience designing high-scale systems and performing performance tuning.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java 21+ features and Virtual Threads.
• Experience with Java performance tooling including heap dumps, thread dumps, and JMH micro-benchmarking.
• Familiarity with Golang and WASM.
